The IDthree philosophy has always been to get change makers to see what others can’t see so they can go where others can’t go.  This will differentiate them, spark innovation and propel them toward a better tomorrow.  As part of this process we need to educate people.  In light of Covid-19 and the lockdown we wanted to give you three chunks of information based on three themes: Economics, Psychology and Medicine.  10 days ago we released an insightful video where I interviewed widely respected investment specialist, Mark Appleton.  This was exceptionally well accepted by you and it is gratifying to know that we were able to give a broad perspective of the current global and local market conditions and explore scenarios that may play out in the future.  If you haven’t watched the full interview I encourage you to do so. 

This week IDthree will be releasing a podcast called LIFE INTERUPTED – THE PSYCHOLOGY.  I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Sandy, a widely respected practicing psychologist where we discuss how Covid-19 and the lockdown has changed current behaviour and explore future bahaviour.  We ask if our current selves will recognize our former selves post the global crisis and probe the breaking point of tolerance for prolonged uncertainty.  Don’t miss this.  It is not only educational and insightful but a very real and relevant reality that we will need to come to terms with. 

I also wanted to introduce to you our third professional who I will be interviewing this weekend.  It is rare to get the time of such a highly regarded medical specialist, not only in his own country but globally.  Dr Marius Conradie started as a general surgeon before specializing further in the field of Urology.  His expertise in laparoscopy and robotic surgery has seen him complete many live surgical procedures so as to impart his extraordinary skills.  In addition to this skillset Dr Conradie is also the President of the Pan African Endourology Society and was the President of the World Congress of Endourology in 2016.
